How much can you safe? Quite a bit and I think it is very popular move although I was expecting something easier to calculate. 
Is it really quite a bit or is just a bit? The additional RM1,000 personal relief will only save you max RM260 a year, if you are at the max tax rate of 26% (net income more than RM100,000). Which is still less than RM1 a day. May be it help to buy a kuih for your tea daily.
Well the max tax rate has cut from 27% to 26%. Let check around how many peoples’ annual net income is more than RM100,000? It seems this will only help the rich people getting richer. This does not help poor people like us.
